- ➤ Retired U-2 pilot Glenn Whicker will share his Cold War experiences at the Air and Military Museum of the Ozarks (2305 E. Kearney St.) at 10 a.m. on April 11, describing how he flew major Soviet aircraft and led U.S. escorts for Soviet crews. Springfield News-Leader

- ➤ Central High Kilties will mark 100 years with a series of reunion events that include a history walk at school on April 10, a pancake breakfast and performance on April 11, and a downtown show with an alumnae reception on April 12.
