Step into Santa’s Chocolate Workshop at Hampton House , where Christmas magic meets the delicious art of chocolate making!

Join us for a delightfully decadent holiday experience in the cozy, Christmas-dressed surroundings of Hampton House. We’ll roll up our sleeves and get creative with all things chocolate, making everything from beautiful hand-painted truffles and chocolate-dipped marshmallow pops to festive pretzel rods, decorated brownies, and rich, luxurious sipping chocolate.

Along the way, we’ll explore the secrets of working with chocolate, from tempering and silky ganache to glossy coatings, colorful decorations, and professional finishing touches that make your creations look as wonderful as they taste.

You’ll head home with a beautiful assortment of handmade chocolate treats, perfect for holiday gifting (or eating in the car on the way home, not that we’ve ever done that), along with new skills, sweet memories, and a generous helping of Christmas cheer.

A Note About Location: We’re excited to welcome you to Hampton House, our new event space! We’re currently awaiting final approval from the City of Springfield. In the (hopefully unlikely) event that approval isn’t received in time, the experience will take place at our original Teaching Kitchen at 607 S. Pickwick Avenue instead. The program itself will remain unchanged, and we’ll notify all registered guests promptly if a location change is necessary.

Hampton

House

This holiday baking class takes place in the cozy, festive surroundings of Hampton House.

We’ll provide the ingredients, equipment, and a generous helping of Christmas cheer. You just need to bring yourself!

Arrival

Time

Please allow a little time for parking in Rountree.

Doors will open for your class 20 minutes before the scheduled time, so you can relax in our parlor, do some shopping in our boutique, and get to feeling festive before the baking begins!
