About this event
Join Obelisk Home on First Friday, November 6th from 6-10pm for the opening reception of "Revival" by Bret Neathery in the Main Gallery!
"Revival is a return to the kind of painting I know best, but with a new focus. One that is quieter and more open to what comes next. Color and composition play an important part in this series. The way a hue can shift a mood, the way a shape can hold both weight and lightness. These series of paintings are not a full return to the past, but a careful "Revival" of what feels alive in my work" - Bret Neathery
In the Lower Level Gallery, view "VELESERO est. 2056" showcasing varied works of Arkansas-based artist Mark Jackson from the 2020s and 2030s.
Throughout the evening, enjoy complimentary refreshments and explore three floors of art
