- ➤ Springfield’s Watching Over Whiskers is building shelters for feral cats in cold weather today & invites local volunteers to assist with the project as it unfolds. KY3
- ➤ After a family emergency, a couple left their job and moved to Springfield to care for three children, and now they seek support via Share Your Christmas; needed gifts & donations will be accepted at Crosslines Community Outreach at 3055 E. - ➤ Utility locators from the U.S. and Canada gathered yesterday at 8 a.m. in Springfield for the International Locate Rodeo—where they tested speed and accuracy in detecting underground lines and exchanged techniques with peers. KY3
- ➤ SRA Roofing and Gutters will donate a new roof for Katy McCharen’s Springfield home before Christmas after spring storms damaged the structure and caused leaks that affected a child’s health. The $13,000 project will help the family enjoy a better living environment. KY3
