- ➤ Thousands joined a 'No Kings' protest in Springfield, Mo on Saturday, Oct. 18—an event that drew between 1,500 and 2,000 people at the corner of Sunshine and National despite intermittent rain. - ➤ Kevin Howard has spent 30 years on Springfield radio, hosting weekday shows on 98.7 The Dove with co-host Chris Louzader since his arrival in 1995 and organizing the annual charity breakfast Boobapalooza. The 26th annual event (set for Friday, Oct. 24 at Coyotes Adobe Café from 6 to 10 a.m.) will benefit the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks with a $10 donation. OzarksFirst.com
