- ➤ Firefighters battled a house fire along the 3300 block of West Lombard Street—west of Springfield near West Bypass—on Sunday at 1:30 p.m., and three people died while investigators have not released the victims' names or the cause of the blaze. KY3
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Officers from Springfield and nearby departments gathered at the Greene County Sheriff’s Office training center last Saturday for a statewide saturation event aimed at reducing impaired driving—Sgt. Justin Lloyd advised that if you drink, stay home while a MADD representative stressed the severe impact of drunk driving, with saturation numbers expected soon. OzarksFirst.com
