- ➤ The 14th annual Stomp The Blues Out Of Homelessness Festival was held Saturday at Barnhouse Baseball Park in Springfield and raised money from ticket sales to help local nonprofits support people experiencing homelessness. Organizer Jim Payne said funds will assist groups such as Women in Need of The Ozarks—The Rare Breed—The Youth Connect Center—Lauras Home and Darr House—Play it Forward SWMO. KY3
- ➤ On Saturday, June 14, about 2,000 people lined Chestnut Expressway from Campbell Avenue to Benton Avenue during the national No Kings protest and later joined the end of the Springfield Pride Parade in downtown Springfield. Springfield News-Leader

- ➤ Three people were charged on Friday after officers searched a home on 10 Pot O Gold Lane in Reeds Spring and found methamphetamine—psilocybin mushroom growth and meth pipes, and they face charges of making drugs near schools, possessing controlled substances, keeping a public nuisance, and having drug paraphernalia. - ➤ Springfield PD is asking for tips on the whereabouts of a 13-year-old girl last seen June 13 at 11 a.m. near her home on Fremont Avenue and Kearney Street wearing a white tie-dye shirt, jeans, and a black cowboy hat — she is known to visit Doling Park, Forest Cove North, and nearby culverts. - ➤ Ozarks Pridefest started this morning with a parade in downtown Springfield. Community members and local vendors gathered around Park Central Square to celebrate Pride Month + enjoy drag performances, poetry readings and art displays without any counter protestors present. - ➤ After taking a year off in 2024, the Butterfly Festival returned to the Springfield Botanical Gardens Saturday — the free event featured live animal displays from the Dickerson Park Zoo and Wonders of Wildlife, plant exhibits by the Ozark Daylily Society, the Roston Native Butterfly House, a Caterpillar Petting Zoo and dozens of vendors.
