EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ MU announced a new 4-year medical school at 3737 E. Battlefield Road offering a preadmission program for Springfield students; an initial cohort of 32 will begin in 2027. The program aims to address local doctor shortages + support community-based healthcare. Springfield Daily Citizen
- ➤ Ozarks Tech awarded more than 2,500 degrees on May 14 at two ceremonies held at Great Southern Bank Arena. - ➤ Springfield Public Schools will offer free breakfast and lunch to children 18 and under through the USDA SUN Meals program from June 1 to June 26 at various school sites, and families will not need to register or show ID when they check in at the school office. KY3
