- ➤ The Springfield Police Department is offering a free one-day motorcycle safety course called Share the Road on May 17 to help riders improve their skills—applications must be received by noon on May 15 from those with a valid motorcycle endorsement and a street-legal motorcycle. KY3
- ➤ State Rep. Betsy Fogle will run for the vacant state Senate seat in 2026 when Lincoln Hough retires, and she said her campaign will focus on lowering living costs, making streets safer, and improving access to health care and schools for Springfield families. Springfield Daily Citizen

- ➤ The FDA warned people not to buy or use products containing tianeptine—an opioid called gas station heroin because it is found in dietary supplements like Tianaa, Zaza, Neptune’s Fix, Pegasus and TD Red.
