- ➤ Cassidy Station at Estes Farm is a 150-year-old farm turned community hub offering a mercantile, flower shop and event space that hosts concerts, classes and craft shows. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Springfield Police said four pedestrians died earlier in 2025 when crossing outside designated crosswalks and urged drivers & pedestrians to use the WITS method to stay safe on the road. OzarksFirst.com
- ➤ The Springfield Fire Department responded at 1 a.m. on March 20 to a vehicle fire in the 700 block of West Atlantic Street in north Springfield and found a victim who died after being taken to Mercy Hospital—fire officials are investigating. Springfield Daily Citizen

- ➤ A mermaid swam in the Shipwreck Reef tank on March 19th to launch a new spring experience at Wonders of Wildlife, and for the next few weeks mermaids will join sea creatures in their tanks—providing an engaging show for aquarium guests. Springfield News-Leader

- ➤ The Springfield-Greene County Park Board and the Woodland Heights Neighborhood Association will host an open house on April 3 from 4-6 p.m. at the Springfield Dream Center—where locals can offer feedback on plans to upgrade Lafayette Park, including a potential running track and sports field improvements for Reed Middle School.
