- ➤ Springfield author David Harrison was named national Route 66 centennial poet laureate and will read five original poems during events from April 30 through May 3, including a presentation at Birthplace Plaza and a screening at Great Southern Bank Arena, as announced by Mayor Jeff Schrag.
