BUSINESS NEWS

  • Artist Mick and wife Paige Whitcomb have nearly finished converting a historic 1906 building at 1306 N. Grant Ave into a creative workshop featuring vintage details like half a trolley car + old typewriters. EDUCATION NEWS

  • Only the Ozark School District board election will be contested on April 7 as five candidates vie for three open seats, unlike nearby districts where candidates match openings.   • Springfield counselor Abey Douglass admitted to engaging in inappropriate relationships with clients and losing her temper in front of children, and was placed on a two-year probation (with required supervision) while she continued to see clients as state records show.  KY3
