About this event

Come celebrate one of the most beloved Hispanic holidays with traditional sugar-skull decorating, papel picado art and cempazuchitl flower-making. Participate in the mini-altar diorama competition, "Calaveritas" poetry creation and the Catrin and Catrina contests. Visit the traditional altar and enjoy "Pan de Muerto" sweet bread. Live music from La Marimba Caliente and Mariachi Flor de Missouri.

Organized by the Department of Languages, Cultures, and Religions, in collaboration with the Reynolds College of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities, the

PSU Ballroom will be transformed into a vibrant celebration of Dia de Muertos. Join us from 10 a.m. to 1p.m. to celebrate these traditions and honor the spirits of the dead.
