About this event

Teaching is challenging work, especially when you are learning as you go. Join other teaching assistants for practical, interactive sessions focused on the questions and challenges that come with teaching. Explore research-based practices, work through real teaching situations, exchange ideas with other TAs, and leave with strategies you can use in your own teaching.

Seven 2-hour sessions across the 2026-2027 academic year. Each session stands on its own, so attend the sessions that meet your needs-or join us throughout the year as you continue building your teaching practice and connecting with other TAs.

December Topic: You have nearly made it through the semester, and now you have something you did not have when you began: experience. Use what worked, what did not, and what you are noticing now to finish well and begin planning more intentionally for what comes next.
